About

Infinite Abilities offers functional fitness group classes for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Hosted at Seacoast Strength & Conditioning in Rye, New Hampshire, the program aims to serve a diverse population of all ages and an array of diagnoses, who benefit from the physical, cognitive, behavioral/emotional, and social components that fitness provides. Underlying all of our efforts with our adaptive members is working with them towards independence and building community.

Functional Movements

The foundation for Infinite Abilities is functional training. We work on building strength, flexibility, and balance for navigating the physical world and the objects in it. We do this by replicating and practicing movements necessary in the real world. We focus on compound exercises which require more than one muscle group working together. This replicates the way the body moves in everyday life.
